The black bird (evil) was released by Harry after his fight with Draco in the bathroom where he almost killed Draco. It was right after this that Draco finally let the death eaters into Hogwarts. On Pottercast's review of the movie, they pointed out that Draco seems to have made up his mind after Harry almost killed him and I think it's interesting that this is also when Harry released that bird. I've finally been able to catch up on podcasts, school has been sucking up all of my time. Staying inline with the movie theme, a friend and I recently noticed that when HP movies are aired on ABC they usually include extended scenes that never made it to the theatrical version. I've also checked the DVD versions and they're missing from there too! I'm not sure if there was some sort of deal with ABC and WB, but I'd really appreciate if they released these longer versions on DVD haha... not sure if either of you have noticed or know anything more about this.
