  1. Adam Says:

Awesome! I don’t really care for the ones with Harry, but the one with Dumbledore is amazing!

  2. Ellen Says:

I like the side writing, its different from the other film posters.
I can only guess who A.S. of MN is.

  3. revgeorge Says:

Hmm, I’m the exact opposite of Adam. The ones with Harry are fine, not that they really do all that much for me. I prefer trailers to posters. But the Dumbledore one, aaaghhh it burns!! But that could just be because of who’s playing Dumbledore. :)

  4. WDWFEW Says:

I am very much not a fan of MG but these are somewhat decent. However, really seems like they’re giving something BIG away.

  5. Jennifer Says:

I like the posters, especially the sideways writing, but I’m afraid Dumbledore may be a big clue. It’s not snape though. :) They’re good. the HP6 is my favorite. I don’t think that we should assume that everyone knows dumbledore dies. My family tried to keep it from my dad, then he read it in a magazine without any warning.

  6. Alyce Says:

the one with just harry’s face is my favourite. it looks so cool, with dumbledore’s reflection in his glasses. these are the coolest posters i’ve seen for the movies so far, i think they are a lot better than OotP. i’m really excited to see the movie now!

  7. Sofia Says:

    Owww,

They are pratically giving obvious espoilers in the poster…

“Once again I must ask too much of you, Harry”

    sniff.

  8. Sofia Says:

    OHHHHHHHHH

    I JUST REALIZE THAT…

    Harry’s eyes are almost green!!

    AHHHHHHHHH

Hi everyone, I have another essay for you all, tell me if you think I am right in my assessment.
Why people love the Harry Potter Series

There may be many reasons why people love the Harry Potter Series, and why millions of us read the books over and over again; each time learning something new. The main and most potent reason is the depth and love we as readers have for the characters. Rowling has created a masterpiece full of characters we will never forget as long as we live and breathe. From the sometimes heroic and brave protagonist Harry to the calculating and mysterious Severus Snape. We have all come to love these characters and there life within these books has been intrinsically linked with our own. We devoted fans go to conventions, have round table discussions, listen and host Podcasts and much more. These characters are firmly entrenched in our hearts and minds. It is only natural for us to feel sad and even cry when one character or another dies. Some less devoted fans may say that this is stupid, why would you cry over a fictional characters death. The simple reason is that they have become apart of us. From the first book to the subsequent six titles, we craved to know what would happen, we became so in love with the books we couldn’t get enough of them, and we would talk to each other online, from themes to romance and everything in-between. The truly great thing about this Series is much deeper than plot or characters however, it is the fact that so many people, and not just children, are under the “spell”. The books were meant for children, but have become a world wide cultural phenomenon. The fact that people of all ages read the Series is a testament to its brilliance. The fact that the final four novels hold the record for being the fastest selling books in publishing history shows that these are much more than whimsical children’s tales, but are full of the pain and dilemmas of real life. I myself am not ashamed to say that I cried on many occasions while reading this Series, I cried for the characters I loved who died. Everyone loves this Series for its morals, as you read, you see that the most powerful magic on this earth is not incantational magic, but something much more profound, something that every human who comes in to this world has, something that can not be taken away from you. This ultimate power is incalculable, it is endless, and it is one of the most powerful themes in this Series and is what ultimately finished Lord Voldemort for good. If you have read this Series in its entirety, need I tell you what it is? Surely you already know? Without reading another word on this page, you can all tell me what this power is. Still don’t know what it is? Well, here are some facts: Voldemort never new about Snape’s Solicitousness for Harry’s mother, therefore, he couldn’t see that Snape was on Dumbledore’s side from the moment Voldemort threatened her, Voldemort couldn’t see that Snape LOVED Lily and never wanted her dead despite what Harry thinks in the first six books. You guessed it; love is the one important theme and is the key to the end of the Series. To put it simply, people love this Series because there is nothing to dislike about it. It has everything you want a good book Series to have. Even two years after the final book was published, they are still being bought to this day. They remain the most successful book Series of all time, and will stand times test as one of the greatest epics we will ever see. Don’t think you have to take my word for it, just look at the sales records and the millions of people who will never forget the bespectacled boy wizard, who grew up to be a loving man with the one thing he was denied as a child, a family. To those who read his story, he will remain a constant in our lives, always reminding us to make the right choice, not the easy one, As well as doing what is right for the ones we love. Harry is an altruistic and enigmatic character who has his share of flaws, but is a person that we could all learn from.

  11. austin Says:

should we give up on this podcast cause im tired of checking give me a strait answer now

  12. revgeorge Says:

    Austin,

Over on Facebook, Greg & Penny said they would be back. They do have a real life & that sometimes causes unexpected delays. I’ve had to wait much longer for podcasts from other shows than the time I’ve spent waiting for a new episode of HP Progs. But if one really likes a show & is committed to it, then a wait to let people deal with their real life shouldn’t be a problem. If not, well, there’s no shame in moving on to something else. As for me, I’ll give Greg & Penny the time they need.

  13. Penny Says:

Austin- we are still here. We will hopefully get a podcast out soon. We apologize for the delay. As revgeorge said, we have been pretty busy “in real life” and we apologize that hpprogs has suffered because of that. We are planning our next episode though so hopefully it will be recorded and put out soon.

  14. Potters Number 1 Fan Says:

this is the best podcast and I will never give up! Great job!

  15. Potters Number 1 Fan Says:
