What’s Happening In HPProgs World?!?
Hey guys. Just wanted to say hi. First of all, BIG, HUGE Thank You to everyone who commented after episode 95. It was great to see some new names as well as hear from some of our old favorite listeners again!
Things have been pretty busy around here. Greg and I are both dealing with some job related stuff and between that and regular life, we haven’t had a chance to sit down together to come up with and record Episode 96 yet. We hope to record within the next few days or so, but in the meantime, I wanted you all to know that we are still around, still reading comments, and still interrupting each other any chance we can.
If for some reason you are REALLY missing your HPProgs, I recommend going back and listening to some old episodes, that is always fun. And if you want something different, I joined the folks over at Mugglecast again for their latest episode, 166. We had a really interesting discussion and the episode should be up over the next couple of days. I am going to be a semi-regular contributor over there so you can now get a double dose of me! (How lucky for you. *Insert Sarcasm Here*)

I just listened to your Beedle the Bard podcast and I thought it was great. I also enjoyed the book. Dumbledore’s comments were my favorite part. Anyway, keep up the great podcast!

Hi, I just found an error in HBP. Harry uses the body bind on a death eater and then the minister say that he used stupify. maybe I’m just looking to much in to it?

Yes at the start of Chapter 28 Harry uses the body bind and then look at the end of Chapter 30 when Harry is talking to the Minister.

I just listened to the Beedle the Bard episode. I kind of fell a little bit behind on listening, but I still enjoy your podcast every once in a while. You sounded like you really needed those comments, I suspect to keep you encouraged to continue. I think yours is still the best Harry Potter podcast. But I can also understand how life can take priority over podcasting…

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know I enjoy your podcast! I also wanted to say that in the female role model podcast, I think that J.K. Rowling was trying to use negative role models to encourage young girls to decide not to be like them. Make any sense? Anyway, I think that when young girls meet these characters and see their flaws, they are encouraged to make an effort to not make the same mistakes as these female characters. Really, all of the characters in Harry Potter are flawed in some way. Even Dumbledore admits that he is not perfect. Thanks for making this podcast, I’m really enjoying it! Gives me something Harry Potter to think about Post-Deathly Hallows.

Just a quick “Hi” ~ looking forwared to another HP Progs & as far as I’m concerned Penny is the only reason to listen to Mugglecast!!

I listen to both hpprogs and mugglecast and I was so surprised when I heard Penny’s voice on mugglecast! I was so excitied! I loved your commentary. Greg and Penny keep up with the podcasting I love listening to you both on my rides to work at the hospital.
