Even though I had read transcripts of the stories several months ago, the pictures and commentaries after the stories were delightful. The deluxe edition comes in a large, book shaped box, with the actual 'Beedle' book tucked inside a velvet pouch that has JK's signature stitched on the outside. It also has an envelope with several of the book pictures on cardstock. The book itself is smaller that the regular book, and has silver ornamental objects on the cover (including a silver skull). That would just make my life super saturated with completedness... I'm glad Jo loves the fans enough to publish the <i>Tales</i>, I would have understood if she wanted it to be special for the original owners.
