Warner Brothers releases new Half-Blood Prince trailer!
Warner Brothers has released the newest Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Trailer exclusively for fansites!

Ironically, the trailer will be debuting in theaters prior to the Twilight Movie next Thursday.

I love it! I am so glad quidditch is back. It is great that they kept the Ron/love potion scene in. It looks dark and amazing. I know there will be disappointments, but I still can not wait!

WOW! It looks like they’ve changed a lot since the first trailer, i.e. the memory sequence. I love it!!!

I come back from school and am treated with a HBP trailer? And its an awesome trailer! =D
I’m still in shock, but I think I can safely say that this won’t be a really crappy movie.

When i first saw this trailer i almost forgot what warner bros had done by moving harry potter to almost another year away!
As for the trailer review here it is:
0:07 – 0:20 = Funny opening presumably dumbledore taking harry to hogwarts!
0:21 0:22 = establishing shot i would have liked this to be the shot after the astronomey tower scene. However i now know that this scene is after ron is hospitalized!
0:23 = harry is introduced by dumbledore to slughorn and wins a love potion along with romilda vane!
0:25 = harry and hermione discus how to destroy the horcrux`s
0:26 – 0:30 =slughorn describes the love potion and ron is poisned by a drink for dumbledore!
0:31 – 0:40 = ron has dank love potion and has fallen in love with someone
0:41 – 0:42 the hogwarts train goes to hogwarts through the snow
0:43 – 0:44 Luna opens a door on a train and finds harry and his friends!
0:45 = dumbledore and harry walk through the magic gates to school!
0:46 – 0:54 = another trailer showed this scene already and this annoys me that warner bros is just giving us the same info and images!
0:55 – 0:57 = Young voldermort ask slughorn about eternal life and how to make horcrux`s
0:58 – 1:00 = dumbledore tells harry about the memory
1:01 = A good time to pause if you want to see the dark mark however it is hard to see in the fog
1:02 – 1:03 harry is watching outside presumably in another scene like the something wicked this way comes scene from HP3
1:04 – 1:05 = another repeat a small segment from another trailer showing dumbledore giving harry the memory!
1:06 -1:16 = another repeat this small clip doesn’t match the trailers vibe so i think warner bros just added it to lengthen the trailer!
1:17 – 1:19 = is this a continuity error or is it that the cave scene went from calm seas in the last trailer to a rough sea in this and where did that island come from that wasn’t in the book and how will they get from there to the cave?
1:20 – 1:21 = good to recheck the end of this segment it is a funny image of ron!
1:22 – 1:24 = the memory fades and dumbledore describes the memory
1:24 – 1:26 = The dark mark rives over hogwarts (This scene is after the astronomy scene)
1:26 – 1:27 = Another continuity error the dark mark is summoned after dumbledores death by bellatrix after she see`s him fall
1:28 = another repeat harry runs through grass near the newly added scene involving an attack on the burrow!
1:29 = hermione cry`s after seeing ron kiss someone else
1:30 – 1:31 = the newly added attack on the bridge not included in the book as the death eaters attack shops and surge in the air!
1:32 = draco cry`s
1:33 = the kiss!
1:33 harry tells hermione he doesnt want ron and her to join him on the quest for the horcrux hermione disaproves
1:34 – 1:35 = The cave scene if you look it spoils the scene showing dumbledore attacking the inferi with fire then showing harry attacking a few crawling inferi
1:36 – 1:53 = The burrow scene vocal repeated with other images of the attack on hagrids hut, Snape casting the avada cadaver curse and the bridge attack completed by three death eaters and completely unrealistic as the bridges lifts up and bends!
Oh and almost missed this!
1:38 Harry looks from the astronomy tower and sees dumbledore fall!
My opinion on the two film out of deathly hallow:
They cut all the important stuff out of book five and then they decide or i think we can earn more money if we split harry potter 7 in two!
Harry potter new trailer review:
A good look from the trailer shame the only new part is the outside cave scene a few shots of the dark mark and the bridge scene!
All together a good trailer despite it only have about 20 seconds of new footage. I would be conned into seeing the film if i hadnt been so annoyed at them changing the release date and i can expect at least 2 more trailers before the films released including a year 6 trailer released a month before the film and another trailer between December and January!
Boycott warner bros (If you dont want to boycott harry potter 6 boycott all the other films or leave it eleven days before you see the film they made us wait eleven months they should be able to wait eleven days!)
Also for all those women out there who are unsure about boycotting warner bros they have said (After 2008 there will be no more films with female lead charecters) which in my opinion is extremely racist!

Extreme rudeness to warner bros! (you have been warned)
The Los Angeles Times is reporting about the fan reaction to the news that the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Movie will be delayed by eight months. They interviewed WB President and Chief Operating Officer, David Horn about the situation and he elaborated on the press release from yesterday. He quashed rumors that the delay is due to production difficulties:
“There is no production delay or production consideration. . . . It feels like we have an opportunity in the summer,” Horn said.
He added that he had seen the film, which is in the final production stages, and that it would “absolutely have been ready” by November. He characterized the shift as a proactive business move, not a retreat. “The question we asked is, what is best for this movie.”
He then continued to explain the following:
Warner currently is riding high with “The Dark Knight,” the Batman film that also stars Bale. The grim super-hero movie has taken in $452 million in the U.S. since its July 18 release, making it the second-highest grossing film ever.
To some degree, that success motivated Warner to shift “Half-Blood Prince,” Horn said. The film will now hit theaters the same midsummer weekend that “Dark Knight” was released this year. Horn said the young, core Potter audience would be out of school and give the film a longer theatrical life.
Horn finished the interview by letting everyone know that “We would never do anything to hurt one of the movies or the series. We love our fans.” And money.
This seems extremely stupid and i am boycotting harry potter 6 and want to say something to warner bros . . .
Fuck you my birthday is in december i could have seen the fucking film and now it wont be released on fucking DVD till bloody christmas 2009 the fucking prats will you ever learn you have enough fucking money already just produce films to help!
Also here is a bit of help for all you people at warner bros you could have earnt billions this year if harry potter had been released 2008 was the year of money making films like iron man, hulk and (the lame film watched only for heaths portrayal of the joker) The dark knight!

I just have to say that Jim Broadbent doesn’t look at all like the Slughorn I pictured when reading the book, but I think he looks fantastic in this.
