A much better trailer by far…a worthy stand in. And I’m with Penny and revgeorge, Harris is the much better Dumbledore, less of a crack pot than Gambon.

yeah i don’t have an issue with Gambon, other than he seems a little too stern instead of fun-loving. and the costume’s a little wack.

I like Gambon way better too, I just did not want to say anything because I thought I was alone… That teaser trailer just made me angry because it did not show us any images, and I would really love for the real trailer to come out!

I really like Gambon better. I guess I’m the only one. I thought Richard Harris played the part too old and too stodgy.

And the teaser trailer doesn’t even live up to that. I’m not teased at all. Just disappointed we didn’t get a tad bit more. I know the proper trailer is coming later but still, give us a little more than the credits & the voiceover.

I’ve got nothing against Gambon personally; I don’t even know him. Just his characterization or the director’s or whoever’s is totally off. And as we get deeper into the series, OOTP, HBP, DH, the character of Dumbledore gets more & more complex & important. Oh well, we can only endure it & hope it works out.

I had the exact same thought about Gambon, Revgeorge. Unfortunately I think we are going to feel the loss of Richard Harris the most in this upcoming move. So sad.

Yes, your trailer was way better & funnier. Not to start another round of Gambon bashing, but just hearing his voice reminds me how much he doesn’t fit the part. Sigh.
