Well, I doubt very much this travelling exhibit will get anywhere near me in Western Nebraska. Plus, I don’t feel very inclined to give WB any more money right now; maybe when the HBP movie comes out.

On the other hand, maybe if I act like I’m an anti-Harry religious clergyman who’s having second thoughts & would like to be convinced of the goodness of Harry, they’d let me into the exhibit for free! :)

I doubt that they are coming to my part of the world. I’m not saying where, suffice to say that interesting things rarely come my way. I would love to go though. If anyone does go, promise you will take lots of pictures for the rest of us who can’t make it to see.

There was a Harry Potter & the OotP Exhibition Train touring around Switzerland [and I think other parts of Europe as well]. Anyway, my sister and I went to have a look when it was in Basel and she took some amazing pics:

    Neat! Cool pics.

  5. Arturo Says:

wow.. they are really good.. by the way.. I guess everybody knows about a new Harry Potter Theme Park at Orlando coming up like in 2 more years.. thats something that I would definetly go..

  6. Rosie Says:

I know! I think that I will go when it opens, even though I am in Canada, and it is a VERY long drive.

  7. Brit Says:

This exhibit should be good, they had one at the Boston Museum of Science for the Lord of the Rings movies and it was great. They had the mannequin that they used for the funeral scene of Boromir when they sent him down the river. It looked so realistic. They also had interactive stuff to make one person seem small and one seem large like they did for all the scenes with the hobbits when they needed to look small next to an average size character, and a measurement wall to see what creature from the movies you were according to height. I hope that the Harry Potter one is just as good, because I am way more obsessed with this than Lord of the Rings!

  8. Rosie Says:

That sounds cool! I have read LotR once, but I love the movies. I plan on rereading this summer.

  9. Penny Says:

Martina- GREAT pictures, thanks for posting them!!

  10. Sarah B. Says:

Martine- Awesome photos! Thanks so much for sharing them. I notice3d that in the dention photo you show, it has Harry writing “I must not break rules,” but in the movies he does write, “I must not tell lies.” Hmmmmm.

I can’t wait to show my son these pictures. He would love to attend something like this.

  11. NevilleGirl Says:

Thanks for posting this information, this is definitely something I would travel to see. I live pretty close to Boston, so I would hope they would bring it maybe to New York. Martina, those pics are fantastic, you must have had a blast!

  12. TJ Says:

As an aspiring illustrator, what’d I’d like to see are J.K. Rowling’s original drawings for the Sorcerer’s Stone. They’re gorgeous! And they are very revealing about how the author perceives her characters. I’d also LOVE to see the original artwork for the different editions of the Harry Potter books throughout the world. None of this movie paraphernalia for me. When’s this week’s episode coming out?

  13. Rosie Says:

I would love to see the illustrations too, but I would love to get as close to anything HP possible.

And that’s a good question, when is this weeks episode coming out? It has now been 17 days since the last episode, and I am starting to feel my brain cells dying from lack of interesting discussion.

  14. Penny Says:

REcorded tonight. Will edit tomorrow. Hopefully up by the end of the night tomorrow.

  15. Arturo Says:

    Can’t wait! :D

  16. Rosie Says:

    Goody!
