(paperback) That's one of my favorite quotes in the book. And I have to agree with everything you said about Hermione's transformation through out the books. I think this maybe redundant but... one pattern that has begun with the first book is this idea of choice. Since the trio are all away at school, they have now more than ever had the ability to make a choice. I know Greg really hashed this idea out over the podcast but I think there are so many ways in which we see how the trio decide what is good or bad choices. I would say it is a very good peace of work go to search, change the option from search for author to search for title and type in: A Different Road. It is a Harry Slytheren fic and is one of the best I've ever read. The author wrote the second book and working on a third one (no Harry/Draco or Harry/Snape).
