Did You Ever Wonder How the Kid of Two Harry Potter Obsessed People Would Turn Out?
Here is a little preview in case you were thinking about procreating with another “Potter Obsessed” person.
This was on my night table this morning when I woke up (written by Ezra, age 8 1/2, spelling errors are included):
You love me. I love you.
You are a witch to me, like Hermione.
You are, motherly, considerate, caring, and a Slytheran (which has nothing to do with Hirmione).
You are sometimes like Harry, doing stuff without thinking
You are somewhat like Mogonigoll.
I love you with all my heart like hermione loves Victor
I hope you remember this card and I <3 you
This is the one that was on Greg’s night table:
I love you. You love me.
You are like luna sometimes smart, and sometimes good
you are in ravinclaw, and I love you for that
I know you are sometimes a Grifondor because you are brave and strong.
You allso jump headfirst into any situation.
You would be an amazing Quietege plaer. I know it.
I love you.
I thought this was the cutest most endearing thing ever. Greg is wondering what Ezra did wrong that he is kissing up to us like this.

I have to agree with Greg in this instance. And I am very nervous now. Did he cut his sister’s hair? Drink the last Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi? Make a hole in the ceiling? (Oh, wait – that already happened!)

That is ADORABLE!! Oh, you just added another reason why I want to marry a Potter fan…

Sooo cute, my son sometimes tells me that I am a witch like in Harry Potter, not sure how I am meant to take that, I normally take it as a compliment.
I too would be worried what he might have been up to, but with something that sweet he could be easily forgiven.

I agree Greg is like Luna.

He is definately destined to be a head-of-house.

Aww! I’d love to get a Harry Potter themed love note!
I’d also be curious to see if he did anything wrong to bring himself to kiss up, but come on, those are just too cute to not earn automatic forgiveness. It was a good idea to leave it on the bedside table for you to get as soon as you wake up. He’s also so spot on with his description of you two!
Maybe he could help Greg with the thank you note. . .

That is the best!!! I love it! Sounds like he has embraced the Potter world as much as you all have.

“Maybe he could help Greg with the thank you note. . .”
I really, *really* like that idea…

That is too cute. I agree, if he did indeed do anything wrong, then he should be forgiven. Absolutely precious!

Awwww! That is so sweet. Your reaction was very Hufflepuff; Greg’s was Slytherin.

That is cute. I get love notes frequently from my 9 yr old. I think it’s just when they learn they can communicate intimately through a note. You’re lucky your notes incorporate Harry Potter into them. All the same I love my notes and I’m dreading the day they stop and turn into: “Mom, I’m staying the night at my friends’. Talk to you later. Oh yeah, I need some money. Luv U.”

That is too cute! I love his spelling, haha. That took some thought, and I’m sure he did nothing wrong. haha.
