I think it would be a fantastic because when he looks over the sea he could have a determined, heartbroken but brave expression and then you see him on the cliff edge and him silouetted in the sunset and the credits would neatly fade in and i would be like "NOOOO!" and desperate to see more. It would have me on the edge of my seat and dying to see the next film.
