Ha! I haven’t even listened to this episode yet, but “Oh, Hareeeeeeee!” has me laughing. My wife and I complain about that all the time. We very much prefer Stephen Fry.

Wow all I can say is wow. This is probably the funniest episode ever. A new favorite. You guys have recaptured the original charm and humor that got me interested somehow in listening. I just got off work and couldn’t stop listening as I was laughing so hard I think I woke up my whole neighborhood. I was glad to here Greg return to the lovely Penny kicking it over. So many one liners and Gregs accent followed by the Not special features and here is us watching the movie podcast. Hilarious. When Penny started with her accent I almost passed a whole cup of coffee through my nose. Classic just classic. So much to comment about but I need to sleep first if I can after chortleing begining to end during this episode!

Yes I liked this episode, and I fully agree with Penny that Harrys eye’s should be green, Warner Bros. spend so much money on the movies anyway. Just to say when Penny asked if Harrys eye’s were green when Voldermort possesed him they actually were. But I think they were green because Voldermort was inside his soul, and the green showed that the evil was inside Harry. Well thats what I think anyway, sorry I haven’t commented before because I am not very good at putting words to the page. Hope the call-in show goes well, but I cannot call in because it will be in the middle of the night for me!

Sounds pretty good to me Ellen. I’m not good at putting words anywhere but it never stopped me. Ask anyone here?

I don’t know if anyone saw my last post, but I have a pome that I would like everyone to read and tell me what they think about it.
A series to remember for ever
Books can be fun, boring, intrusting, informative, or just purely unbelievable.
The books that I enjoy the most fall into the latter category.
For it is the mysteries and magic that I take a fancy to.
It is these mythical, magical, mysteries of this particular book series of which I had endeavored and vowed I would read until the end.
I told myself when I first picked up book one of this purely unbelievable series, that I would read each and everyone of these books through to the very end without pausing on my journey.
For ten years I followed a child through his tale, not pausing once, not looking back.
With each new installment the series became darker.
When characters fell victim to a murderers quest for domination I shed tears.
when battles were one I rejoiced.
when characters I had come to love were killed I openly wept.
When characters I had come to despise were killed I celebrated.
So upon me came the summer of two thousand seven, where I learned that this book series would be ending.
I can not describe to you the sadness I felt in realizing that this was it, the train would stop soon.
The train would stop when I finished the final novel.
When at last I had the book in my hands, I proceeded to read.
When at last I was done, with more tears shed, I climbed into my bed and fell asleep thinking about the seven part tail that was now at an end.
I had done what I said I would do, read until the very end.
I should not have to tell you what series I had read.
Because if you, like me, picked up that first book ten years ago, you will have reached the same train station as I have done.

I know there are some grammer problems but it won the best pome of the 11th grade! I hope everyone enjoyed it and I’m sure you all felt the same way as I did. We all have come to the same train station after all.

Poems are not exactly my area to review Potter #1 Fan but I would say you did an excellent job capturing the rollercoaster of emotions felt during my reading of the series in a few well written lines. I think it very deserving of the recognition you received. If you are looking for some constructive critism I only have one comment. In my best Christopher Watkins voice, It needs more Hagrid!

I am so excited I cannot relay my emotions except in song…..
BIG GIRLS DON”T CRrrrryyyy.. they don’t cry…..

You have all the emotion of Madeline Kahn in Young Frankenstein.

Potter’s Number One fan- I totally meant to compliment you the last time you posted this poem and I am not sure why I forgot to. Thanks for sharing it and congratulations on winning the contest!!
We’d love to have you read it on the show sometime- if you would be able to record and MP3 file and e-mail it to us, we’d love to play it on one of our upcoming episodes. Let us know.

I don’t have the necessary equipment to record an MP3, however it will be cool if you could talk about it on your next pod cast and you can read it on the show. Everyone who read it that are Potter fans loved it and thought I captured there thoughts perfectly.

Penny is right, Harry’s eyes are a travesty. (That’s about the only bit of movie-screw-up minutia I have staunchly maintained indignant about since SS came out.) I wonder why they didn’t change it on the box; I believe they did for the earlier films.
