Sadly, no. It is magical, though. You say what kind of beer you want, they pull a lever, and it comes zooming out from the back...at least that's how it worked in Strange Brew...

They did have Butter Beer at Prophecy, but it was $9.00 a glass. I only pay that much for alcohol when I'm at a baseball game. ;)

Peter Jackson would definitely be my dream director for the seventh film... Cuaron has expressed some interest... it would be interesting to see his take on it- we know that he does some prolific things when he takes an artistic slant on a narrative and he demonstrated great skill in the big adventure epic, "Children of Men" which suggests to me he could adeptly portray the more mythic and epic portions of Deathly Hallows.

I've liked Cuaron's take better than the Newell's or Yates; I'd be fine with him doing Book 7...although I liked Yates/Newell enough that I won't be disappointed either way. Of course, if Joel and Ethan Coen are available...or Marty Scorsese. ;)

Hi guys, I really enjoyed listening to your Prophecy adventure, being all the way over here in NZ I am probably never going to attend one so will happily live vicariously through everyone else.

Loved your comments on Cuaron, I thought he had butchered that film as it was my favourite book and I thought there was too much missing. But my husband who has never read the books likes the film, I have explained many times about the maurauders but he says he understands all that from the film without my indepth narrating.

I hear through the grapevine that Cuaron has been making rumblings about wanting to direct film 7. I think I would be very disappointed as I can imagine he would make too many changes again and we would be left wondering about too much.

Ok, I loved your podcast, especially since I was not able to attend Prophecy and I really wanted to. It sounds like there was a huge variety of things to do, my only fear would be not being able to do it all. I am going to seriously look into attending Portus next year. I guess if I save all my pennies and plan properly, it should be possible. If there are any others that pop up which are closer to town, I would love to try to attend those as well.

I still say you guys should put together a live podcast or something like that. That would be cool.

This was my first convention as well. I spent a good portion of the first day wondering if this whole thing was excessive but by the end I had to say I had a blast! There was so much programming and at no point did I think to myself that I was ready for a change in topic. I agree with Penny that Steve Vander Ark is a tremenous speaker. The costumers were fun. I great time.

Sounds like a blast!
Maybe next year I can go to the thing in Dallas.
I'll just have to listen to the end of this episode to catch the name of it again.
