And the inventor is Bowman Wright of Godric's Hollow. I wandered if this might come into play because after the killing of James and Lilly Potter by Voldemort, he would have needed to create a horcrux and the golden snitch was invented in about the 14th century. Harry and Ron never did pass their Apparition tests did they? I know it wasn't mentioned in the book that they did, as Harry wasn't old enough and Ron failed first time, but surely if theyre not going back to Hogwarts they wont have the chance to take the test. Probably a completely irrelevant thought, but I wondered nonetheless whether it would prove to be any hindrance- It surely wouldn't be ideal (or particularly secret) for them to be getting the Knight bus to Godrics Hollow...?
