Unfortunately it's much more cynical and less romantic than you think. The reason they come out during the summer is only because of volume in sales. If HP were to come out around the Xmas holidays it would be virtually the only book sold and publishing companies can't afford such a loss! OMG! What a bitter-sweet moment in the HP world! I can't believe that their releasing the book only a week after the OOTP movie! (My brain is struggling to comprehend the complexity of emotion that I am anticipating!) I mean, I don't want it to end. What will become of my little HP podcast families when it's all over and done with??? :( I've come to depend on the world of Potter to get me through my work day! (Sad but true) On the other hand though, I'm also eagerly looking forward to what's going to happen next! Do any of you think that JKR will tie up all the loose ends, or do you think there will still be enough left open for Prognostications and speculations to carry us for an extended few months/years?
